.:LITTLE APRIL SHOWER:.
.:WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR:.
Name: Giselle
Age: 23
Gender: Female
What movie are you from: Enchanted
Your status: Princess
.:JUST AROUND THE RIVER BEND:.
Personality:
Giselle is always flitting about, no matter where she is, with a carefree attitude towards life. Singing little songs now and again, when necessary, or twirling around (one of her favourite pastimes) are he usual fares that make her who is is. She is always up for brightening somebody's day or just making them smile; and with her contagious happiness, that's never hard.
Always thinking of others, Giselle is quick to put her friends before herself. She loves all creatures, and frequently befriends the ones that others wouldn't. There is always room in her heart for a new friend, and she would love it if the whole world felt the same.
History:
Originally from Andalasia, Giselle grew up in a small cottage adjacent to a babbling brook, and surrounded by furry little animals of all kinds. As she grew, the brook became her favourite spot to play, and the animals became her friends, with whom she spent almost every waking hour. Her parents (Emily and Jack) had taught her from the very beginning to respect all things, both great and small, as she would always need a friend or two by her side.
Like all friends, the animals came and went- some had to move with their families to another part of Andalasia, others didn't like her high spirits, and there were some that had just broken all contact with her. However, Pip the chipmunk remained her best friend, helping her with chores (when he absolutely had to) and coming to her aid, despite his size.
One bright, happy day, as Giselle was singing to all of her current animal friends about finding one's true love, she was attacked by a troll. She wasn't used to being a damsel in distress, nor her own savior, so it was lucky that Prince Edward just so happened to be riding by on his horse. He rescued her, and they planned to be married the next day.
However, their wedding never came to be. Right before the wedding was supposed to take place, Queen Narissa (disguised as an old hag) pushed her down a wishing well.
Moments later, Giselle popped out of a manhole in New York City, her surroundings now very real and frightening. After a horrible night, she met Robert and his daughter Morgan, who brought her back to their apartment where she remained for the rest of her stay in New York.
Over time, Giselle began to accustom herself to proper city etiquette, though she maintained most of her fairytale ways (still calling on the animals to help her do things). She began to fall for Robert, slowly but surely, though she couldn't ever forget Prince Edward.
And of course, as soon as he found out what had happened, Edward, too, ventured to the real world along with Pip to find Giselle. The two end up meeting again, though Giselle is unsure as to what she wants: go back to Andalasia, or remain in New York City with Robert?
Queen Narissa had no choice but to come to New York, too, to get rid of Giselle so that Edward would not marry and she could safely remain Queen for however long she pleased. At the King's and Queen's Ball, she gave Giselle a poisoned apple. Giselle takes a bite, knowing what will happen, because she realizes that she might never be with her true love- Robert. Narissa's plan to kill Giselle is revealed, and only true love's kiss can revive her, so when Edward kisses her and nothing happens, Robert knows that he is her true love and revives her.
The two end up on top of the Woolworth Building fighting against the now-dragon Narissa. They defeat her and she falls to her death, and the two live happily ever after, like any good fairytale ending.
Likes: Robert, animals, singing, dancing, twirling, popsicles, pink, ribbons, flowers
Dislikes: being away from her old friends in Andalasia, hot dogs, people that have no imagination, liars, cereal, things that don't have ribbons or flowers

Giselle sighed quietly as she pressed her cheek against the window. She'd been cooped up in the apartment all morning and longed to venture out and spend the remainder of the day outside. She missed her freedom... well, not that she didn't have it here- Robert had told her that 'the United States is a free country'. But it was always so busy, and there were hardly any trees, and the air never smelled fresh...
In short, it wasn't Andalasia.
She contemplated calling out to her animal friends, but then what could they possibly do? The apartment was spic and span, almost sparkling, really, because she'd already cleaned it twice for something to do. She couldn't make another dress- they'd just bought new curtains and besides, she didn't want a dress that colour anyway. They were a hideous gray with floral designs on them. Giselle had insisted that they get the rainbow-coloured ones, but Robert had told her that they wouldn't go over well. With whom? Giselle thought. There were only ever three people that would see them- him, herself, and Morgan; and she was certain that Morgan wouldn't mind rainbow-coloured curtains. And yet, Robert had gently told her that she didn't live in Andalasia any longer, and things wouldn't always be as colourful as they were there.
She sighed again. She wasn't angry with him, but she wished he'd understand that everything didn't have to be so... 'by the book', as she'd heard someone in a store say to express how set in their ways people were.
Giselle rose from her seat by the window and went to the bathroom, where the nearest mirror was located. She quickly and expertly pinned her hair perfectly and wove a few dried flowers in, then smiled at her reflection.
A few moments later she was out on the street, crossing at the lights to go to Central Park. She thought they could have been more creative with the name, but she let it go and continued on her way, observing all of the people around her.
Perhaps today wouldn't be so bad...
