.:LITTLE APRIL SHOWER:.
.:WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR:.
Name: Wendy Darling
Age: Twelve but practically thirteen.
Gender: Female
What movie are you from: Peter Pan! Oh and that horrid sequel Return to Neverland...but lets never speak of that.
Your status: Heroine
.:JUST AROUND THE RIVER BEND:.
Personality:
Wendy is a typical dreamer. She is a young teenager who doesn't want to grow up and remain a youthful child for her life. She loves to daydream and tell stories to her two brothers. Always about Peter Pan of course. She has quite the imagination that always seems to be waiting to be used. Even though Wendy wants to remain a youthful child, at the same time she is quite mature for her age. She cares like a mother for her brothers. She does tend to worry about them. She is very motherlike which is why The Lost Boys wanted Wendy to be their mother. She can be a bit bossy at times thinking that she knows everything. Often coming off as a bit of a know-it-all if you don't really know her that well.
Wendy also longs for love. She has quite the crush on Peter Pan and tries to get him to see that. Sometimes Peter likes her but sometimes he just completely sees her as nothing. She gets quite jealous when Peter is with other girls. Especially that Tiger Lily. But her jealousy is not nearly as bad as Peter's pixie friend, Tinkerbell. This is part of her more meaner side. Wendy is usually quite kind and patient though. She will only really act depending on how far she had been pushed to do so, such as when she was ready to pretty much use any methods that she would have to on those mermaids when they were splashing all of the water on her. This was also partly due to some of her jealousy toward Peter caring and giving them more interest. And pretty much abandoning her on the rock.
History:
Wendy Darling was a teenage girl living in London with her family. Two brothers, John and Michael and her parents. Wendy and her father always had a mixed relationship. Her father wanted Wendy to grow up and stop telling her brothers of 'silly' fairytales like Peter Pan. Upset with Wendy, he makes the final decision to make her leave the nursery. Wendy's mother feels upset for her daughter but Wendy has not completely lost hope. For she found the shadow of Peter Pan and knew that he would come back for it.
And he did! When she first saw him, she was incredibley eager and babbled on and on. She had taken Peter by surprise with her talking. He established that girls talked too much because of Wendy. While Wendy began to sew the shadow on for Peter, he agreed to take her to Neverland where she wouldn't have to grow up. Pleased about this, Wendy wanted to give Peter a kiss. She leans in to do so, but Peter's pixie friend Tinkerbell pulled Wendy away. Wendy at first is surprised by Tinkerbell's appearance and wishes to make peace with her. But Tinkerbell's jealousy drove Wendy to hate the pixie. Because of all the noise, John and Michael naturally woke up. They wanted to go to Neverland as well, and Peter agreed to it.
Wendy soon asked Peter how they get to Neverland. Peter tells them that they fly. Wendy and her brothers are quite eager to fly. Peter says all you need to do is think of a happy thought. The children are ager to try but it ends with them falling right on the bed. Peter forgot to tell them that they need pixie dust. Tinkerbell on the other hand, got a good kick out of this. Once Peter got the pixie dust from Tink, they are ready to take flight to the Second Star to the Right. They flew right over London, having a grand time while doing so.
Once in Neverland, Wendy and her brothers are eager to explore. Wendy is quite excited about seeing the mermaids. But once Peter told, Tinkerbell to bring Wendy and her brothers to the clubhouse, Tinkerbell tricked the Lost Boys into trying to kill Wendy. After that, Wendy began to hate the pixie. Wanting to make up for it Peter takes Wendy to see the mermaids who she was eager to see. However they turn out to be vein and cruel creatures who also try to kill Wendy. So far she was not having fun in Neverland.
Later that night Wendy's jealous side came out when at the Indian Camp, Peter started to flirt with Tiger Lily who he saved. Angry, Wendy stormed off. Back at the Clubhouse, all of the Lost Boys and her brothers start acting like the Indians. Upset by this, Wendy reminded the boys of their mother. They all then realize that they want to go back home. Peter however is still angry with all of them. Wendy sighs and leaves him. But when she left the Clubhouse her and the lost boys are kidnapped by Hook.
While on the ship, the group must make a decision. To either walk the plank or join Hook. While the boys seem eager to sign up, Wendy is the only one who makes the decision to walk. The boys all admire Wendy's bravery and quickly change their decision. However once Wendy fell off the plank she is caught by Peter Pan. Peter ends up defeating Hook and takes Wendy and her brothers home. Wendy promises to remember Peter forever.

"And then...Peter dove to the left with his dagger toward Hook's right arm. But Hook spun around, causing Peter to miss." Said the very enthusiastic voice of young Wendy Darling. The now thirteen year-old girl sat perched on the edge of Michael's bed. Michael was sitting comfy in his bed listening to the tale that Wendy was telling, clinging on to each word that his elder sister was saying. Wendy always adored this part of the evening. It was right before bed, which meant storytime. And of course all of these stories could only be about one person. And that person being Peter Pan. Whether they be about him and the Lost Boys on a treasure hunt, a vicious fight against Hook or any other fun Neverland games. Each story was always a joy for Wendy to tell. She always liked telling these stories mainly so she could see the excitement that it brought to her brohter's. Plus it was always fun for her to get into these stories and the characters.
"Peter knew that he had to think quick if he wanted to beat Hook. So then he climbed on the top of the lookout tower and-" Wendy began until a small meek voice interrupted her.
"What did Peter do? What did he do Wendy?!" Michael said, clinging onto this bedsheets in a bit of excitement. Wendy just smiled a bit not really minding that he interrupted her. Michael tended to do this a lot since he always got so into the story and even a bit impatient since he always wanted to know what happened right away.
"Well. Peter grabbed onto a piece of rope and he swung down from it. Captain Hook didn't even see it coming, so Peter hit Captain Hook in the head with both of his feet. Hook whailed out loud as he landed head first into the water." Wendy said even getting a bit excited herself. She watched as both boys laughed and even clapped a bit, obviously liking how the tale had gone. She was lucky father wasn't home. Last night the three of them had laughed so hard they woke father up from his room down the hall. Wendy knew now not to tell stories while her father was asleep. She had to deal with her father yelling enough. One less time was a good thing for everyone. She cleared her throat to finish the story off.
"And as you know, whenever Hook falls into water a certain someone is to follow close behind."
"The crocodile! The crocodile!" Michael crawled out. Wendy smiled and she laughed a bit nodding her head. "Thats right. Hook then began to hear a ticking following him. He looked to see the large crocodile ticking behind him. Swimming away as fast as he could, with the crocodile chasing him. While Smee and the other pirates were busy trying to save their captain, Peter let out a whistle. Soon the Lost Boys and Tinkerbell came out from hiding carrying along the treasure chest. They all quickly retrieved from the ship and Peter and the Lost Boys win again!" Wendy said as she finished her story. Michael and John both looked very satisifed with the story they had just heard, much to Wendy's liking. The treasure hunting story had always been a favorite of Wendy's. Nearly everyone that made Hook look the codfish he was, Wendy liked.
"Oh that was a very good story. You can always count on Peter for defeating Hook." John said as he made a small sword like motion with his arm, accidently causing his glasses to fall. Wendy couldn't help but let out a small laugh at this. "Yes Peter will always be around to put an end to Hook and his rotten plans!" Wendy chirped happily as she stood up to tuck her youngest brother in. "I liked the part where he fell in the water." Michael mumbled as he snuggled into his pillow ready to fall asleep. "I liked it too, Michael." Wendy said as she kissed his forehead before moving to turn the light off.
"Goodnight boys." She spoke gently, the darkness coming on. She was about to go into her own bed before looking out the window. She remembered when Peter had come through that same window. Him and Tinkerbell. How eager she had been to see Peter in person. She was lucky that she had managed to catch Nana with his shadow or else she never would have had her adventures in Neverland. She did wonder if he ever came back to listen to her stories. She remembered him saying that he would tell them to the Lost Boys. It had been a bit since he journey to Neverland. Of course she still believed in him. She always would no amtter how old she got. She smiled to herself before turning her back.
But then she paused thinking that she heard someone against the window. Looking back she saw nothing but darkness pressed against the window. She assumed that she was just letting her mind play tricks on her. She was probably tired so she best get off to be. She pulled down the blankets to her bed climbing in and laying down. She didn't fall asleep right away though. She just stared at the ceiling thinking about Peter Pan and Neverland. Just as she was about to turn over on her side and go to sleep, her blue eyes caught sight of something. The window was unlocked. Peter still could come back if he wanted to. Wendy smiled at this and soon shut her eyes falling fast asleep.
